The Hexham bank on Cattle Market is collecting selection boxes on behalf of the children’s ward at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
The store has already received a number of selection boxes, and you don’t need to be a customer to donate.
Store manager Liz Hardy said: “The RVI plays such an important part in the local community and does a lot of untold good to the people who need it.
“It doesn’t matter whether you are a Virgin Money customer or not, you can help make a difference this Christmas by making a donation.”
