A HALTWHISTLE man has been fined for a Hallowe’en attack.

Appearing before Newcastle Magistrates Court on Tuesday, Kyle Kennedy pleaded guilty to a charge of assault and a further charge of criminal damage.

On October 31 last year, Kennedy (20) assaulted a man in Newcastle upon Tyne by beating him.

On the same date, Kennedy caused £358 of damage to a front communal door in Newcastle upon Tyne belonging to Two Castles Housing Association.

Kennedy, of Park Avenue, Haltwhistle, was fined a total of £598.
