The Hadrian‘s Wall Camping and Caravan Site at Melkridge near Haltwhistle, has been built into a thriving business over the past 25 years by current owner, Graham Reid.
Now property specialist Christie & Co is inviting offers of over £799,000 for the popular site.
Mr Reid said: “We have lived here for 45 years and are very proud of the fact that over the last 25 of those, we have managed to develop the site into a great lifestyle business with wonderful accommodation.
“Sadly, it is now time for us to hand over the reins to younger people to develop the site in their own way.
“It’s been a pleasure to watch the site grow and see happy holiday-makers return year on year.”
Aside from its 50 touring/motor home pitches, the 4.5 acre caravan site offers many amenities including centrally heated toilets and shower rooms.
