Officers say Val’s Coffee House was targeted by thieves between 5.15pm on Friday and 7am on Saturday.
Items, including necklaces, were stolen from inside.
Stock including cosmetics and perfume were also stolen from Innovations hair and beauty salon on Westgate between 7pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday.
Anyone with information, or who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log number 324 of 05/08/17.
