Farmers’ market’s recipe for success

CELEBRITY chef Dave Hall will return to Ponteland Farmers’ Market tomorrow with more simple and delicious recipes.

Jimmy Bell – aka the lamb man – will be bringing new season Northumbrian hill lamb, and there will be strawberries and raspberries from Tritlington, speciality breads from North Tyneside, and free-range hen, duck and goose eggs from Haydon Bridge, on top of all the usual favourites.

The WI stall will also be there with home-baked cakes, jams, jellies and chutneys.

The market will be held at Ponteland Memorial Hall, Darras Road, and will run all morning from 9am.
