THE Women’s Institute jumble sale takes place in the parish hall tomorrow (Saturday), at 12.30 pm. You can still pop down tonight, at 5pm or tomorrow morning from 9am to deliver any unwanted goods.

TWO more Taizé for Tynedale services have been arranged in the Methodist Chapel, the first of which takes place on Sunday, at 5pm. Everyone is welcome. The time of worship is followed by a ‘bring and share supper’ for anyone wishing to participate.

NEXT week is Christian Aid Week 2016, so please look out for the little red envelope on your doormat to support this worthy cause.

NEXT Friday, May 20, the tennis club and pre-school are holding a quiz night with quizmaster Mike Smith, as a joint fund-raising event in the parish hall at 7.30pm. Tickets include supper and can be reserved by contacting Linda Humble on 01434 682171 or Paula Pocock on 07885 468566.

Anyone interested in playing, please contact Linden Furness on 01434 682282 who will choose the most popular day and time, and book the sessions.
