A MAN has been left with serious injuries following a crash in Corbridge.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision between an Audi estate car and a Range Rover.
The two-vehicle collision took place shortly after 9am today on Aydon Road.
The driver of the Audi, an elderly man, sustained serious injuries.
No-one else was injured in the incident.
Emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed for two hours for a collision investigation.
Northumbria Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact Motor Patrols officers on 101 quoting reference 402 of 18/05/17.
