THE village will be rocking tomorrow Saturday as the Corbridge Festival takes place at Tynedale Park, with many well know bands. The entertainment commences in late morning and continues until 10.30pm.

NORTHUMBRIA Police hold a surgery in the tourist and information centre on Saturday morning, between 10am and 1pm.

ST John Lee Church holds a summer fair in the grounds of Stagshaw House on Saturday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm, with many assorted stalls and home-made teas.

MESSY Church takes place on Sunday, with this event entitled "Messy Olympic Picnic". The event runs from 3pm until 5pm. Those who plan to attend are requested to bring your own picnic tea a rug to sit on.

WORK continues at the junction of Watling Street and the Market Place to install a build-out to encourage motorists to use the one-way system via Hill Street to prevent lorries, caravans and buses going in to the crowded Market Place.

YOU may remember I reported some weeks back that Corbridge Pentecostal Church was to lose its headquaters at the end of June. I am happy to report that it will hold services in the parish hall every Sunday morning.
