LAST weekend’s jumble sale in aid of Corbridge Youth Initiative’s summer scheme raised £445 for the group.
SAD to report that there will be no charity wheelbarrow race this year, which over the years has made money for many charities in Corbridge. Who knows, it may be back again next year.
MACULAR Support takes place on the first on the first Wednesday of every month commencing in the parish hall at 1pm.
THE parish hall will be closed for normal business next Thursday, as the hall is required as a polling station for the elections that take place that day.
ON Saturday, May 7, Corbridge Age Concern lunch clubs hold a coffee morning from 10am until midday. with assorted stalls.
AFTER months’ of hard work, Corbridge Cricket Club is up and running, although there is still much to do to repair its facilities.
The club recorded a two-run victory over Ashington RCC last weekend with a newly-assembled squad.
