Come Dancing returns to the parish hall this evening from 7.30 pm until 10pm.

Northumberland County Council’s planning site investigation committee visits the Milkwell site regarding the Gladman Developments planning application on Monday, February 1, at 10.30am.

The full strategic planning committee meets at County Hall, Morpeth, on Tuesday, February 2, at 2pm. This meeting is open to the public.

Corbridge Woman’s Institute meets in the parish hall on Monday, February 1, at 2pm where guest speaker David Waugh will give a talk entitled Hidden Corbridge.

There was a good turn-out for Corbridge Cricket Club’s presentation night last Saturday at the Wheatsheaf.

Corbridge Table Tennis Club meets at Corbridge First School every Tuesday at 7pm. New members are welcome.

We have all seen the blizzards in the United States, with record amounts of snow in New York and Washington; not what Corbridge couple Ruth and Bernie Harrison expected when they took a short winter break in New York.

They are due to return home this week.

Northumberland Cou-nty Council has officially closed Station Road until April 30 due to the problems caused by the flooding.
