CORBRIDGE Christmas lights were turned on last weekend, adding to the colourful village setting.

COAST – an exhibition of work by local artists and a celebration of the North-East coastline takes place tomorrow, from 10am until 3pm in the youth and community centre on Hill Street.

COME Dancing will take place in the parish hall tonight, from 7.30pm until 10pm.

MOST of our village shops will be open again on Sunday, November 29, from noon until 4pm.

DILSTON Women’s Institute will hold its monthly meeting in the youth and community centre on Thursday, December 3, at 7pm.

CORBRIDGE Middle School will hold a Christmas fair in the main hall at the middle school on Saturday, December 5, from 1.30pm until 3.30pm. There’ll be assorted stalls and a visit from Santa.

FRIDAY, December 4, will see a preview of this year’s Christmas tree festival when this year’s judges Sol Campbell and his wife, Fiona, will be in attendance. The festival itself will be open from Saturday, December 5, until Tuesday, December 8.

LATE night shopping will take place in Corbridge on Monday, December 7, with most shops staying open until 9pm and many other events for all the family.
