CORBRIDGE Aydon Road Allotments Society will hold an open day on Sunday from 10am until 1pm.

The best garden will be judged and refreshments will be served.

ST Andrew’s Church is having a garden party tomorrow at 2pm at the home of Mr and Mrs MacDonald on Appletree Lane.

LAST week’s Corbridge Festival was a great success and was well attended. Although it was cloudy at times, the rain held off. Well done to the organisers.

CORBRIDGE in Bloom is judged on Wednesday. This is the local part of the competition.

Judges from Britain in Bloom will be in the village next month for the national part of the competition.

IT was a poor weekend for Corbridge Cricket Club last weekend when they lost at leaders Bates Cottages by 113 runs.

The second XI also lost to Bates Cottages.
