CORBRIDGE Art Club’s exhibition continues today (Friday, August 14), until Sunday, August 16, in the Youth and Community Centre. A reminder Sunday’s opening times are 10am until 1pm.

THE exhibition and information as party of Corbridge Village Trusts 50th anniversary continues in St Andrew’s Church until Tuesday, September 8.

DROP in coffee mornings take place every Tuesday morning from 10am until 11.30am.

The Market Place Chapel also have drop in sessions each Friday from 11am until 3pm, every Friday.

CORBRIDGE has a new Parish Councillor, Marc Horn, who will take his seat at the council’s next meeting on Wednesday, August 26. He fills the vacancy left after Kevin Windybank’s resignation.

A FUN family day will take place at Corbridge Cricket Club on Sunday, August 30, in aid of Charlotte Straker and Corbridge Youth Initiative, when there will be a cricket completion. More news of this in future notes.

ST Helen’s Street is preparing to be closed for gas works later this month. The whole length of the street will be closed to traffic. Entry to the village centre will still available from St Helen’s Lane and Watling Street.

SCHEDULES for Corbridge village show are now in all shops. As the build up to the show continues a reminder it will take place in the Parish Hall on Saturday, September 5.

CORBRIDGE lost again in the Northumberland Premier league last weekend as they found themselves 98 all out against visitors Blagdon Park who lost only one wicket in replay, thus winning by nine wickets.
