Funded through donations from the WI, local walking group and Tynedale Lions, one of the public heart start machines is now live at the youth and community centre on Hill Street.
The second was placed at Tynedale Park and both were sourced and installed with support from the Stephen Carey Fund.
Residents were given basic CPR training and demonstrations on how the machine works at a community event held in Corbridge Parish Hall last month.
Corbridge parish councillor Melvyn Stone has volunteered to be a community guardian to check the machines are in working order and report back to the charity.
Volunteers interested in getting involved can contact Coun. Stone on 07803 955148.
