Local running group Jog on the Tyne is hosting The Dragonfly Run at Tynedale Rugby Club, in Corbridge, on Sunday, to raise funds for Hexham charity Josie’s Dragonfly Trust.
Entrants are encouraged to wear white t-shirts and will get splattered with an array of brightly coloured paint along the way.
The family fun run is being organised to “brighten the lives of children and young people with cancer”, with entrants able to run either one or three miles. Children under five years are free to enter.
