THOUSANDS of visitors descended on Corbridge this weekend for the annual Tynedale Beer and Cider Festival.
The start of the festival was delayed after organisers were forced to cancel Thursday night's activities due to strong winds.
However, the rest of the weekend went ahead as planned, and Saturday saw the return of the Stay Strong Stu Rugby 7s competition, with teams from all over the North-East taking part in the tournament.
Crowds gathered at the main pitch at Tynedale Rugby club, enjoying the fast-paced action despite a spell of extremely heavy rain.
The district was represented by two Tynedale sides, with both the Colts and the Janitors taking home trophies, whilst the Janitors' Rob Parker was chosen as the player of the tournament.
