POPULAR colour run “The Dragonfly Run” will be returning to Tynedale Rugby Club in Corbridge on Sunday, and promises to be brighter and messier than ever.

The family fun-run is organised by Jog on the Tyne in aid of Hexham-based young people’s cancer charity, Josie’s Dragonfly Trust.

Participants choose to complete a one or three-mile route at their own pace and get splashed with colour along the way.

Unlike other colour runs, there is no age limit or restrictions to enter and everyone, from grandparents to toddlers, are welcome to join in.

This will be the fourth Dragonfly Run event organised by Jen Lapping from Jog on the Tyne – a friendly and inclusive running group that runs sessions at Hexham’s Wentworth Leisure Centre and leads groups of joggers around the town.

Funds raised at the event will help to support young cancer patients with no hope of a cure.

Josie’s Dragonfly Trust grants special requests to create precious memories for young cancer patients with limited time.
