TELECOMS company BNS, which has its headquarters in Prudhoe, is expanding to open a new office in Reading.

The firm is the UK leader in internet-based telephony, and, with more than 25,000 customers throughout the UK, is expanding its sales team to meet demand.

A team of five, with more than 35 years of telecoms experience between them, will staff the new office.

Regional sales director at Reading Mark Jourdain said he was impressed with the company’s track record, its product portfolio, and the value it offered customers.

BNS chief executive Garry Moat said: “BNS Group has doubled its sales force in the last year and increased its national presence with offices in London, Reading, Birmingham and the North East.

“Mark and his team bring excellent credentials to strengthen the group in the Thames corridor and the South West.”
