Held at Carrycoats Hall, near Birtley, the fete will take place on Sunday, August 14, and will be opened at 2.30pm by the Rev. Mike Slade.
David and Eileen Burn are hard at work in preparation for the fete, which is in aid of St Aidan’s Church.
The annual fete will provide visitors with the chance to see the gardens which have been restored extensively over the last few years with the help of Corbridge gardener Robert Germany.
David has taken charge of growing and maintaining the fruit and vegetables that thrive in the two Victorian walled gardens.
The annual fete allows everyone to enjoy the gardens and indulge themselves in some delicious home-baked goods at the same time.
There will also be stalls selling jams, plants and fruit and vegetables from the garden. Northumbrian piper Sue Acton will be providing musical entertainment.
There will be plenty for young people to enjoy and a creche area for children.
Dogs on leads are welcome.
