A TRIO of bikers have been slapped with warning notices in a police crackdown on anti-social behaviour.

Northumbria Police have joined forces with the Forestry Commission in an anti-social behaviour motorcycle operation.

The two organisations hope to tackle motorcycle anti-social behaviour in rural areas and Forestry Commission land.

And in Wark on Sunday, May 28, three men were handed Section 59 warning notices.

If the men, from Cumbria, are seen using their vehicles in an anti-social manner they can be seized.

Their details were also passed to the Forestry Commission for civil proceedings.
