THERE are proposals to establish a regular film night at Birtley Village Hall.
To date, two pilot film nights have been held to try to establish support and assess the feasibility of purchasing equipment.
As a result, it has been decided to make sure the film nights are sustainable by applying for grants for equipment.
Some donated equipment is available and if deemed suitable, another film will be run in February.
If the films nights are to continue, it is thought a committee should be set up to choose films and help to set up.
