Allendale has a new local history group.
A RECENTLY-FORMED history group is opening its doors in an attempt to attract new members.
The Allen Valleys Local History Group will meet at Allendale Village Hall on Wednesday, August 9, starting at 7pm.
The meeting will feature a talk by Richard Young.
He will give an illustrated talk on the changing use of buildings within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
