ALLENDALE Village Hall film club is showing on Monday Testament of Youth, a 2014 film based on the World War One memoir of Vera Brittain.
Cheese and wine is at 7.15pm and curtain up at 7.45pm. Everyone’s welcome.
IT’S great to see the butcher’s shop open again with Andy Watt from the Crown in Catton at the helm. They’re not just selling meat but fish, cooked foods and a small deli as well. Orders for Christmas can be placed now. The best of luck to this venture!
FRIENDS and neighbours at Arnison Close are holding a coffee morning on Wednesday, November 25.
Our local community police officer will be there from 10am to address concerns regarding bank fraud. Everyone’s welcome and proceeds will go to Dementia Friends.
THERE’S now a regular ‘knit and natter’ group every Friday from 10am until 12.30pm at Catton Village Hall.
