Woman assaulted in Haydon Bridge
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Haydon Bridge in the early hours of Monday morning.
The assault happened around 2am, in Shaftoe Street. The woman, aged 35, suffered a head injury and received hospital treatment.
Officers are carrying out inquiries into the assault and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
