Police tape used to cordon off an incident
POLICE are investigating after two cars crashed into a wall just off the A69 west of Haydon Bridge.
Emergency services were called to Lipwood at 10.25am on Thursday following the collision, involving a Vauxhall Insignia and a Nissan Qashqui.
Officers said the two vehicles left the road before colliding with the wall.
The eastbound lane of the A69 is currently closed, and police are still at the scene to assist with the recovery of the vehicles. Police said nobody was seriously injured.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information should call police on 101, quoting log 304 03/11/16.
