TRAINS between Newcastle and Hexham have been delayed due to a landslip near Prudhoe train station.
For safety reasons, a 5mph speed limit restriction is in place between Prudhoe and Wylam while Network Rail engineers assess the site.
Trains will be operating with a delay of around 10 minutes.
It is not known what has caused the landslip, which has been described as small by a Network Rail spokesperson.
