PARTS of Hexham and surrounding areas were under water as the thunder storms returned on Sunday (July 5) evening.
Local roads, as captured here by Paul Myers, were flooded as a result of the torrential downpours, while Wentworth Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool was closed due to water getting into the building.
The fitness centre was reopened on Monday morning, and the pool and sports hall are set to operate as normal from midday today (July 6).
