POLICE searching for missing Haltwhistle man Alan Davis say they have found a body.
The 63-year-old, described as vulnerable, went missing from his home on Comb Hill in the early hours of Friday morning.
Following searches in the Haltwhistle area on Friday, police revealed at 1pm that a body had been found.
A police spokesman: "Officers searching for missing Northumberland man Alan Davis have sadly now found the body of a man.
"Formal identification has yet to take place. The family of Mr Davis is being informed."
