This is a tallish, bright yellow plant, so please be alert to its dangers.
ON Sunday, August 23, the Boatside Agricultural Show will take place and will be open to the public from 2pm.
Programmes are available from all three pubs, Fourstones filling Station and Down to Earth, Hexham.

THOSE of us who live in Newbrough have had to steer through roadworks recently.
Last Friday morning, men were seen digging a hole in the road. They then coned the area off, put up traffic lights and left.
Fortunately the lights have been fairly swift at changing, so there has been little hold up, but it begs the question, why do half a job and leave it?
