HEDDON Village Show saw adults, children and even pets take centre stage last weekend.

The Knott Memorial Hall was the place to be on Saturday as exhibits in cookery, floral art and other skills went on display.

Trophies were up for grabs in several categories, including the popular children’s classes.

Outside, the event’s popular dog show was a resounding success, with an impressive line-up of canines taking part in various categories, from most handsome dog to best fancy- dressed dog.

A day of strong competition included live music from local band Just Us.
