THE coffee morning at the community centre on Saturday will be hosted by the Friends of Haydon News from 10am. Everyone is welcome.

THE community centre is also the venue for the art group to meet on Wednesday, between 6.30pm and 9.1 pm. It is a great opportunity to explore your artistic side.

THERE'S a family beetle drive at the Haydonian Social Club on Saturday, May 14, at 7pm.

MEMBERS of the embroidery group are having a exhibition of their work at St Andrew's Parish Church, Corbridge. The exhibition will be open on May 13 and 14, between 10am and 4pm. Refreshments will be available (all home made). All proceeds will go to the Great North Air Ambulance.

DEMENTIA UK will benefit from this month's quiz at the General Havelock. John Harrison will be question master on Tuesday, May 17 from 8pm.

THE 10am morning service takes place as usual at the Methodist Church on Sunday. However, there will be no service on Sunday night. Instead, everyone is invited to attend a special time of worship to be held in Tynedale Function Suite, Hexham Mart, entitled 'Now is the time for Worship'. This service begins at 6.30pm.

THERE would normally have been a Messy Church session with the village children this week. However, they are taking a break during May and hope to meet everyone again in the second week in June.
