SEVEN fire crews are at the scene of a large grass fire near Haydon Bridge.
The blaze broke out on Friday afternoon on farmland between Lowgate and Elrington. Lowes Fell Road was closed temporarily while the fire was brought under control
Police said the A69 remained unaffected.
