A DRIVER escaped without injuries on Tuesday after he accidentally reversed a car into a ground floor flat in Allendale.
The incident happened at around 4.30pm when the Ford Mondeo hit the property at Denefields.
Fire crews from Hexham and Allendale were called, as a precaution, but found there was no structural damage to the building.
