Collision on the Military Road.
A WOMAN had to be freed from her overturned car on Thursday night after a collision on the Military Road.
Police received a report of a single vehicle crash at 5.48pm yesterday on the westbound B6318, just over the brow of the hill at the Brocolitia car park near Newbrough.
Three fire engines from Hexham, Haltwhistle and Allendale attended the scene and the teams worked to free the 46-year-old woman from her vehicle.
Paramedics attended to the woman who had minor injuries.
Police say the road was closed temporarily to allow emergency services to manage the incident.
