TRAFFIC is backed up on the A69 at Hexham after a lorry shed its load near the Bridge End roundabout.
Police say three diesel-powered lighting units fell from the back of an HGV on to the east-bound carriageway at about 3.50pm.
The outside lane is blocked but traffic appears to be moving slowly through one lane.
