FOUR renowned wildlife artists are in Stocksfield for a three-day exhibition which gets underway on Thursday morning.

The Northern Wildlife Art Exhibition, at Mowden Hall School, near Stocksfield, will raise money Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust.

For over 70 years the trust has been researching the causes of wildlife decline, and developing practical solutions to help restore a thriving countryside.

The charity is close to the hearts of the four artists whose work will be on show at the exhibition, which gets under way today from 10am.

Painters Ashley Boon, Jason Lowes, and Mary Ann Rogers; and sculptor Ian Greensitt; all bring their own distinctive eye and style to a shared passion for wildlife and rural subjects.

The exhibition will be open for general viewing from 10pm to 4pm on Thursday and Friday; and from 10am to 1pm on Saturday.
