A NATIONAL charity which stands up for rural communities has given its support to the Courant ’s ‘Your right to know’ campaign.

The Campaign to Protect Rural England has more than 200 local groups and a branch in every county.

A spokesman contacted the Courant this week and said: “This decision could mean matters such as planning applications are dealt with before communities ever become aware of them.”

"It could lead to local people losing their chance to respond.”
