THE annual Barrasford Marrow Show has raised £2,000 for charity.
Around 20 entries were benched at the Barrasford Arms on Saturday, September 30, giving new owners of the popular North Tyne pub their first experience of the village tradition.
Michael and Victoria Eames selected John Blacklock's effort as the winning entry with the money generated through a sale of produce and auction.
Proceeds from this years event will be split between Tynedale Hospice at Home, Northumbria Blood Bikes and the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
