EMERGENCY services have closed a carriageway of the A69, causing major disruption.
There has been a chemical spillage on the Bridge End roundabout at Hexham.
While the splliage is being cleared away, the A69 eastbound is closed between A6079 and A68/B6529 Stagshaw Road (Stagshaw Roundabout).
Diversions are in force.
