THE snow didn't deter the commercial agents from donning their wellies and hard hats to see what progress had been made on the first phase of the office park on part of the former Glory Mill paper mill site.

The state-of-the-art Courtyard at Glory Park in Wooburn Green, being developed by Hanbury Securities, will comprise 11 self-contained freehold landscaped office buildings, ranging in size from 2,500 sq ft to 5,500 sq ft, arranged around a central courtyard with car parking on the 12.5 acre site alongside the chalk stream.

Work began on the fast track building for units 5 to 9 after Christmas which is now being built using the latest construction techniques. Completion is due on July 4 with units 1 to 4 and 10 and 11 completed by Christmas 2005.

Richard Sanders, managing director of Hanbury Securities said: "It is very exciting. The visibility of the steelworks which went up in about ten days has attracted a lot of interest which has kickstarted the marketing."
