There could be some Easter fun for all the family at the Northumberland Wildlife Trust's nature reserves.

The trust is set to host a range of events at five of its reserves over the Easter break.

Starting on March 22 is an Easter crafting event at the Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre on Druridge Bay.

Other activities range from bird spotting and nature detective hunts for children, to guided walks for those wishing to discover signs of impending spring.

Even dogs have their day with a Good Friday meet-up scheduled at Weetslade Country Park.

Wildlife Trust events officer Frances Smiles said: "There’s something for everybody this Easter, whether you like bird spotting, have four legs and a tail, want to try your hand at watercolour painting, building a den or just fancy a leisurely stroll in peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of life."

The full programme can be found on the Northumberland Wildlife Trust website.
