Savills recently added four new members to its rural division based in Newcastle.

The food and farming team welcomes Jamie Oliver as an associate director, once a farm business consultant at George F White.

Utilising his SRUC degree in rural business management with agriculture, Mr Oliver will help farmers and landowners maximise their income.

The team is further strengthened with the addition of Ashley Taylor, former Duchy of Cornwall Estate employee, stationed at the Northumberland-based Ford and Etal Estate as a director.

Rebecca Newton has started as a graduate rural surveyor from Harper Adams University, and Rachael Foster, who will provide administration support.

The firm's director and head of the Savills Newcastle rural team, Charles Baker said: "Jamie and Ashley have strong knowledge and experience in their respective fields and will be instrumental in the delivery of the office’s growth plans and strategic objectives."
