Debbie Drennan and Hayley Turner started the group during the Covid pandemic.

The coffee mornings take place on Wednesday at 9.30am at Oddfellows Coffee in Haydon Bridge and Friday at 10.30am in Haltwhistle.

The Northumberland Communities Together team at Northumberland County Council provide a private room for the group to use at Haltwhistle Library.

Hayley, a parent of a child with additional needs, said: "The group is a safe, warm and welcoming place to come along and chat; sometimes we're talking about specific problems or issues and often we are just chatting about all sort of things.

"There is no need for a referral from an agency or to know anyone in the group, all are welcome.

"Our final dates this year are Wednesday, December 21 at Oddfellows and Friday, December 16 at Haltwhistle Library - we are going to have a Christmas buffet on this day between 11am and 2pm and people are more than welcome to come along and say hello."

Regular meetings of Bridge2Care start again week commencing January 9.
