ALMOST 80 former pupils of Queen Elizabeth Grammar School attended a reunion in Hexham.
The reunion was organised by a small group of former classmates to mark the 50th anniversary of the start of their secondary education.
Guests made the journey from as far away as Cincinnati and Philadelphia to join in the celebrations at Hexham Abbey function rooms on September 15, which included a meal and songs from the era.
