TYNEDALE'S dancing star Vick Hope has been made the bookies' favourite to win this year's 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
Vick, who lived near Minsteracres, was declared the 'one to watch' before the first live round of the new series of the popular BBC show kicked off at the weekend, some bookies pricing her at 3/1 to bring home the coveted glitter ball trophy.
Her first live dance could have gone better, however, as she was joint third bottom of the list of 15 celebrities after she experienced difficulties with the fast paced jive with professional partner Graziano Di Prima.
The pair were awarded 18 points from a possible 40, with the results carrying over to week two of the show with no elimination in the opening round.
