POLICE seized equipment and uplifted a vehicle following a suspected poaching incident at Kiln Pit Hill on Saturday September 8.
Equipment including a lamp was seized under the Poaching Prevention Act, while the vehicle was uplifted from the scene under Section 165.
A spokeswoman from Northumbria Police confirmed a report was received of the incident at 10.51pm on Saturday.
She added: "The driver of the vehicle was interviewed by officers and reported for having no insurance and driving with a provisional licence."
