The organisation is asking people interested in joining to visit the Army Reserve building at the junction of Hencotes and Temperley Place, from 7pm onwards.
Hexham Squadron is aimed at young people aged between 12 and 20 who wish to gain knowledge and experience of the Royal Air Force.
Richard Tickell is squadron leader and his focus is to develop the cadets to gain qualifications in a variety of activities, such as leadership, teamwork, first aid, sport, rifle target shooting and flying.
