The event raises money for the club, as well as Corbridge Youth Initiative and Charlotte Straker House, and went ahead despite the cloudy skies.
Cricket, quoits and community were the order of the day as a team of adults and youngsters from Corbridge Youth Initiative triumphed in the cricket match to win the club’s charity shield.
Several team members also picked up individual awards for their batting and bowling performance.
The winning line-up were captained by Corey Dover (14) who was joined by brother Freddie, dad Andy, James Rutherford (11) and his dad John, Callum Laws (10) and his dad Stephen, Thomas Wood (9), Conor Garret-Jowsey (14), Chris Sewell and Maurice Hodgson.
Children and families enjoyed stalls, a bouncy castle, children’s games, afternoon tea, a barbecue and live music.
