Working on behalf of developer Medburn Homes, the company will construct the 50 four and five-bedroom home development which will be known as Medburn Park.
The building group said this will respond to the lack of executive housing in Northumberland with the delivery of this range of prestige properties.
James Walker, managing director at Surgo Construction, said: “We are very pleased to announce this new project win and are hopeful it may lead to further residential development work in the future.
“Over the history of the company we have developed extensive experience of building high quality new homes.”
The first houses are expected to be ready for occupation in January 2019, with the full construction programme due to conclude in September 2020.
