AN exhibition of paintings and sculptures by some of the UK’s most celebrated rural artists is being held in Tynedale.

The exhibition will be held to raise funds for wildlife research charity the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT).

The Northern Wildlife Art Exhibition will take place at Mowden Hall School, near Stocksfield, beginning with an evening preview on Wednesday, October 26, from 6pm to 8.30pm.

The exhibition will then be open for general viewing from 10am to 4pm on Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28, and from 10am-1pm on Saturday, October 29.

Tickets for the evening preview include wine and canapes.

The exhibition includes work by Ashley Boon, Jason Lowes, Mary Ann Rogers and Ian Greensitt, who are all kindly donating a percentage of their sales to the GWCT.
